What is your policy on listing my primary residence or any of my own investment properties?
Because our agents are on 100% commission, you will keep the full amount and only pay a transaction fee of $150.
It is required that you disclose your interest in the property on the MLS, in person when meeting clients and on the contracts.
Errors and Omissions does not cover primary residence transactions so you must disclose everything in writing and be very cautious. We disallow you representing the buyer when you have an interest in the property. If you have a buyer you may get a 30% referral fee, or what you choose to negotiate, and refer them to another agent.
When do you hold trainings & are they recorded?
Our regular schedule consists of holding trainings every Monday at 8pm EST via Zoom. We often have additional trainings that we announce throughout the year. These trainings are recorded and are available on the Signature Training Camp platform.
Every Tuesday at 8pm EST, we hold a Weekly Listing Updates call via Zoom so our agents can be familiar with all of our listings. You may also present any listing during this time. (This call does not get recorded)
We have an entire training curriculum on our Signature Agent Training Camp which you can watch at your own convenience.
Do you have any other fees aside from those explained in the commission video?
There is one additional fee applicable to top producing agents that exceed $250,000 in gross commission income. That additional fee is an extra $1000 for every $250,000 increment in their gross commission income. For example, if you make $1 million dollars in gross commissions, your first $250,000 is covered in the fees you pay, and the other $750,000 would cost you another $3,000 for the whole year.
Other than that we do not have any franchise fees or additional fees as we hate paying them just as much as you do. We believe in being fully transparent and all of our fees are clearly outlined in the commission explainer video.
Keep in mind, there are dues to being a real estate agent. Below is a breakdown of those that will apply to you.
NAR - National Association of Realtors
$540/year (prorated from Jan 1st at time of signing)
MLS - Multiple Listing Service Dues
Average of $230/yr depending on which MLS access you need
On occasion we do live events which can have a fee to purchase tickets. Fees can range from $35-$50 which typically covers the food and the venue costs. We also hold an Annual Black-Tie Event celebrating the previous year where agents typically bring their spouse at the cost of $99/person.
